We go nuts over Christmas in our house. Sorry that was a dad joke.
I’ve done this for more than 20 years now and this week I am excited because we are starting our Men’s Saturday Morning Winter Book Club – 2026 . During the months of January–February-March we get together on Saturday mornings from 8:00 to 10:00. We gather round, drink some good coffee, and talk. That’s what it’s about. Now there can be some small talk but that’s where the books come in. They keep reeling us in (or back in) for some meaty discussions.
Not all men are avid readers but it’s not heavy going to read a book over the course of 10 weeks or so, especially when the snow’s flying. And then to get together and discuss it over coffee! That’s where the ‘magic’ happens.

The book we’re doing this winter is ‘Tim Keller on the Christian Life: The Transforming Power of the Gospel’ by Matt Smethurst. I’m looking forward to being with the guys like this. It’s always been life-changing for me.
As for the nuts, Christmas might be over, but I think not. Bring on the nuts!
